Behind the Brand: How Sand + Sol Started with a Laptop and a Dream

Every brand starts somewhere. For me, it wasn’t an office or a team of investors — it was a laptop, a cup of coffee, and a vision I couldn’t stop thinking about.

I wanted to create extensions that didn’t need filters or retouches to look beautiful. Hair that blended naturally, felt soft to the touch, and made both stylists and clients feel confident instead of frustrated.

That’s how Sand + Sol Luxury Extensions was born — out of equal parts passion, precision, and a little bit of stubborn belief that luxury could be done differently.

a laptop and hair extensions

From behind the chair to behind the brand

As a stylist, I saw every side of the industry — the extensions that looked fake, the tones that didn’t match, the brands that prioritized packaging over performance. I knew what stylists actually needed:

  • Extensions that tone predictably and blend instantly.

  • Shades that mimic real undertones and photograph beautifully.

  • Density that feels like real hair, not heavy bulk.

So I started building — testing samples, adjusting tones, refining every tiny detail until each Sand + Sol pack met the standard I wanted behind my own chair.

Every shade has a story

Each Sand + Sol tone was designed with intention — rooted, dimensional, and soft enough to blend across multiple levels.I hand-selected every color with stylists in mind, because we know what believable looks like.

Luxury hair isn’t just about price — it’s about consistency, quality, and the trust that every pack will perform like the last.

Built with purpose, fueled by passion

What started as a laptop and a dream turned into a brand that’s changing how stylists see extensions. We’re not just selling hair — we’re building a movement around education, artistry, and confidence. When stylists are equipped with the right tools, they create transformations that don’t just change looks — they change lives.
